Taylor + Cole Chattanooga Engagement

You guys... This couple. This family. They are PERFECT! I could NOT stop taking pictures of them. Taylor found me on Facebook earlier in the year looking for a wedding photographer. I sent her my pricing and without a delay she was ready to book me. I hightailed it down to Chattanooga, we met up for coffee, and we discussed her wedding that's to take place in June. And I can't even begin to tell you how excited I am for this wedding! Taylor and Cole are such an adorable couple and they sure do know how to work the camera.

As the day for their engagement session approached, rain popped up in the forecast. We got a little worried on the day-of, as it was a torrential downpour all day. Like window wipers on full speed on the drive down to Chattanooga. I was prepared for the rain and had my umbrellas and camera cover, but I know clients prefer not to shoot in the rain. If it were a dream world, we would have nice golden hour light for every session. I happen to love gloomy weather for images; it creates a certain mood that can't always be portrayed with a lot of light present. Luckily, by the grace of God, it stopped raining completely when we arrived in Coolidge Park for the session. It was still a bit gloomy though, so I was ready to go. Also a perk: Chattanooga held on to fall just a little bit longer. This session was in the middle of December and I was surprised at how much orange was still lingering!

Taylor and Cole's engagement session started out with a small family mini session with her little girl, Aubree, and their Great Dane pup, Frank. Yes, Frank. Probably the best name I've heard for a dog.

Enjoy!

And that concludes the small family session. They are such a happy family and Aubree loved having her picture taken. We left Aubree with her grandmother and I stole the happy couple to capture their love.

I hope y'all enjoyed this session as much as I did. I am so excited for the wedding in June and check back then to see more of this lovely couple!
