Pop quiz! True or False: You have to be engaged to have a photoshoot done with your love?
FALSE! This is a common misconception and a question I sometimes get. "Sarah, we want photos done but we're not engaged. Is that weird? Is that allowed?" Whatever you want is allowed! If you wanted to do a photoshoot in fairy costumes - cool. I'm here for you and what you want.
Case in point: Erin and Craig. They have been together for 9 years and are not engaged. But within those 9 years, they have never had professional photos done! *crowd gasps in disbelief*
I know what you're thinking: How could a good lookin' couple like this NOT had photos done yet?! Well I'm glad I got to them, first. ;)
Erin is a friend of mine from college. She recently moved to Chattanooga for a job so now she's only an hour and a half away instead of 3 hours. Woo! I reached out to Erin back in November about doing a session because (1) They're a freakin' adorable couple and (2) There was a location in Chattanooga that I wanted to scout, so I needed some models!
These photos were taken at the North Chickamauga Creek Gorge Trailhead in Soddy Daisy, Tennessee – right outside of Chattanooga. It was everything I wanted in a session. Rocks. Creek. Slight view of a mountain. Little bit of sand... I had been dying to do a session with a lot of rocks and/or a creek, so I got the best of both worlds here!
