Josh & Grace wanted a mountain view for their maternity session, so I took them to the Foothills Parkway in the Great Smoky Mountains right outside of Knoxville, Tennessee.
The Foothills Parkway is a national parkway which traverses the foothills of the northern Great Smoky Mountains. It is MILES long with many different overlooks. The biggest pro to doing a session here are the views and being up in the mountains with an easy drive! The main downside with the Foothills Parkway is lack of open space/grassy areas for shoots. The shots below were shot at just two different overlooks. The first one being the area with the best grassy spot for sessions. The second half was at an area called "The Missing Link" where there's not much room for photos, other than the cute stone wall!
