By now, you all should know how much I love newborn sessions. I love getting my dose of babies and giving in to the baby fever for a couple of hours. I will take all the cuddles! And when I first saw little Cooper, he melted my heart.
Cooper is so very special. He's a sweet rainbow baby.
He's the miracle baby of one of my long-term clients, the Teddletons. I encourage you to visit their anniversary session here, where we did a few shots to honor the lost babe, Tatum.
So when Meagan and Jordan got pregnant again and passed the 15 week mark, there were so excited for little man to enter the world! I decided to gift them this session as a "thank you for being my client for the past 3 years" as well as a congratulations present. They deserve it, and I am so thankful for them.
For all my parents out there that have gone through a miscarriage, I want to give you some words of encouragement.
"The pain you have been feeling can't compare to the joy that is coming." Romans 8:18. While I've never had children, I know that miscarriages are hard. Mentally. Physically. Emotionally. What once was there and brought so much joy, is no longer. But you can't lose faith. You can't lose hope. There will be a rainbow after the storm, and the joy that little one will bring, will be far more than you could imagine. And remember, having another baby does not mean you will lose your love for your angel baby. Your love for them will never go away, it will never be replaced; it will always be there.
